Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek Blog Hop!

Hello, Hello and Welcome!

With any luck you will have hopped on over from Debbie's blog and it is a pleasure to meet you.
If you haven't come over from Debbie's blog that is just fine - you can start the blog hop here with me! There are links at the bottom of the post that will take you to the next blog post automatically so join in, have fun and be inspired... (Oh and please excuse all the exclamation marks - I'm excited!!)

Today I am sharing some brilliant sneak peeks from the NEW Sale-A-Bration catalogue that comes out this Tuesday (28th January 2014)! The best thing about the catalogue is that the items we are using are FREE with EVERY £45 order, be it on-line or in person.

I have used the "Good as Gold" card kit for my makes. This one is easy to overlook in the brochure but I urge you to take another look. Firstly, I want to show you how quick and easy it is to create thank you cards in gorgeous Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango with rich gold accents. This is the design that comes with the instructions in the pack. There are enough products in the pack to create 8 cards of this design, all you add is the adhesive. Each of these cards took me less then 1 minute to make!

**TOP TIP: Stampin' Up! are really generous with their kits - the envelope liners that come with the kit are beautiful gold foil, but 1/2 of that loveliness is hidden away inside the envelope where no-one will see it. I cut off the bottom 2" of my liners to re-purpose for other projects. Yay! More materials to play with!**

Next up, we have a variation on the basic design simply by turning the card 90 degrees:

Now it gets even more fun! I want to show you just how versatile these kits can be so for the next project I have ONLY used the materials allocated for one card included in the kit, a scrap of acetate and 1/4 of a sheet of A4 white card!

What do you think of this cute treat holder? You could pop all sorts into this dinky box from lip balm to chocolates like I did. A certain brand of hazelnut chocolates packaged in gold foil also fit rather well - and coordinate too! On the back I have mounted a panel of white card so you can add a personal message. You could even use these as favours / name places for a wedding or special event!

Finally we have this sweet little flip book, again made using the materials for just one card with the tiny addition of card scraps (none of which measured more than 3") in a couple of matching colours.

I will be putting up further posts during the week to show you how to make the treat box in a "Wow! How?" tutorial as well as the individual pages of the little flip book. Make sure to click on my 'Follow' button on the right hand side so you don't miss out on those! Below are the supplies I have used - products from the Spring/Summer Catalogue will be listed from TUESDAY as I am not allowed to show you before then!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the rest of the blog hop and Happy Crafting!
