Simply Stampin' Challenge - Sketch 17

Hello! It's come back round to sketch week again, and this week's offering is (drumroll...)
Sketch 17.jpg
Tada! Deceptively simple I think, you can have a lot of fun with this one! I have stayed faithful to the sketch for once - well almost! I have left off the sentiment, but if you take a look at my card I think you will see why, a greeting would have just been way to much on my very busy design...

I LOVE the colours I have used on this card, so fresh and vibrant! Just the thing to match the nice spring weather we have had this week, and to encourage summer to come a bit faster...
Do you like my flower? I have used layers of vellum so it has a lighter almost glowing quality to it, and fastened through the middle with my favourite Antique Brads - they are so fabulous and great value!

I have used all different techniques on this card, but the panel behind the flower uses heat embossing resist - if you want to have a go at this technique why not come along to my workshop (details can be found HERE) and learn this one and many many more?
OK so to the recipe (all items SU unless otherwise stated):

Stamp Sets: Everything Eleanor, Medallion, A Comme Amie (retired)
Card Stock: Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Vellum
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, Elegant Eggplant, VersaMark
Punches: 1-3/4" Scallop Circle, Scallop Border.
Other: Clear Embossing Powder, Antique Brad, DSP, Mica Powder (non SU)

I hope you like it?
Happy Crafting
Becky x
