Moroccan Medallion

I love my medallion stamp, it has to be one of my most used stamps in my whole collection! It works fantastically with the Joseph's coat embossing technique, and the fiery colours make me think of spices and sun - hence the Morocco Medallion title:

I used various colours over the base, blending them together using sponge daubers. The medallion was then heat embossed over the top, before being swiped over with the deep cherry cobbler red.

Any residue was wiped off, revealing the glorious colours underneath the clear embossing. I hope you like it! Finished off with a 'friend' sentiment this card could be used for a birthday, get well card or as a general greeting.

One of the reasons I love this stamp so much is that it is so versatile, I can stamp it onto tissue paper and make flowers, use it in a background as I have done HERE on my scrapbook layout, I can just use the centre circle section, or the stamp can be the main feature as in today's card. If you love it to, then why not order one from me? Contact me at craftingbecky@gmail.com to get yours!

I have decided to enter this make into a few challenges this week - let me introduce you to them:

craft room challenge - 'emboss it' This fortnightly challenge has some great inspiration in it's design team, and I love the total mix of styles that are represented.

creative craft challenges 2 - 'anything goes' This one is one I check out often as it is not limited to paper crafts - I can show off my jewellery makes here.

art with no boundaries - 'anything goes' and 'fit to be tied' This one is new to me, but I am loving the site and links so will be back for more. Running 2 concurrent challenges, I am only entering the anything goes this occasion.

house of gilli - 'emboss' Small and cute images here, so my make may be a little out of place, but I checked and you don't need to use Gilli images - I love your colouring ladies - very envious!

simon says stamp and show - 'your favourite stamp' When I saw the 'favourite stamp' challenge I had to enter it!

That's all for now, and the recipe is listed below.

Happy Crafting,
Becky x
